At Log-In, you will be required to provide a verification code in addition to your password to access the system. Why Do I Need This? This extra layer of security helps prevent hackers from accessing your account. Passwords can get stolen and emails can be hacked – especially if you use the same password for multiple sites. Adding Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) means that even if your password gets stolen, or your email gets hacked, your Company’s confidential information will remain secure on our portal. To access the Pension Consultants Secure Portal you are required to configure your account by following the instructions below. If you require assistance please contact your plan consultant.
What Is 2FA?
To set up an authenticator app on your smartphone, go through the following steps:
Download and install a two-factor authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices)
Click on 'Add Account' and scan this one-time QR Code or enter this key lblManualEntryKey into your two factor authenticator app. Spaces and casing do not matter.
Once you have scanned the QR code or input the key above, your two factor authentication app will provide you with a unique code. Enter the code, without spaces, in the confirmation box below.

What is Two-Factor Authentication? Two-factor authentication, or as it’s commonly abbreviated, 2FA, is a method of securing online accounts through multiple authentication rounds. In the case of 2FA, you’ll need two factors to successfully log in — something you know and something you own. The basic form uses your email & password to log in as your first factor (something you know) and a code retrieved from an Authenticator App (something you own). What is an Authenticator App? An authenticator app is usually installed on a smartphone and it generates a 6-8 digit verification code every 30 seconds. The verification codes are generated from a secret phrase that is shared between the Secure Pension Consultants Portal and your device. Get Google Authenticator for Android or iOS.
